Purple: My New Pink

08Jun09

Lately I have been captivated by the colour purple as well as with the hippie style. The look I created this time is – I would say – kind of a modern hippie style. *g*

I think the “cuffed capri holes” jeans from The Abyss is one of the “older” items that should be in every closet. And its light blue washing goes nicely with the purple colour (F9) of the “Double Strap Top” from Calypso Giano, which is a really cool basic item for mix and matches.
The “Leather Blouson” in lavender from ARGRACE is one of my fav jackets specially because of it’s realistic texture. It comes with a black shirt and the opportunity to wear it with shirt, just as jacket and also as a vest. Next, what fitted most to this almost cosy outfit are the fedora “ant flats” from Miel and the lovely “Shiloh” skin from Exodi. I am wearing the skin tone coffee with the “Flower Girl” make up, which looks right awsome together with all the other purple items.
As I talked about a modern hippie style, lets come to these parts of the outfit which make them look like one. First of all there is the hair. I guess you all know it by now. It is the “Apple” haircut from Maitreya in the colour caramel. And the asseccoires are the “Recycled” jewelery in black from Shiny Things (it comes with a collar and two bangles) and the lovely “Jeans Scarf” in wildberry from Malt Fashions which is a nice alternative to usual belts.
